GNU Guix System is not only my preferred GNU/Linux OS but also a good package manager in its own right. It would be good to have a functional pie cannon build script for Guix.

Some libraries it uses may not be available in Guix or may be outdated (Guava is at version 20.0, compared to the upstream release version 30.0) so there is an opportunity to upstream those.
